At Longview, we value being a resource in the community now and, in the future, when someone age 55+ needs life-enriching housing options where they can thrive and be safe. This requires strategic and financial planning. Part of that process comes from our community members in the form of a bequest or trust planning. You can be part of our future by including Longview in your trust planning, or by making a gift through a bequest.

Longview is a tax-exempt charitable organization dedicated to the well-being of older adults through housing options, supportive services, and community partnerships.

For an unrestricted gift that allows Ithacare Center Service Co., Inc. DBA Longview, an Ithacare Community to determine how to use the funds based on the area of greatest need, below is an example of language to be used in your trust:

"I give to Ithacare Center Service Co., Inc. DBA Longview, an Ithacare Community a 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation currently located at 1 Bella Vista Drive, Ithaca New York, _________ [a written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its area of greatest need."

To designate your provision for a particular purpose:

"I give to Ithacare Center Service Co., Inc. DBA Longview, an Ithacare Community a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation currently located at 1 Bella Vista Drive, a specified written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property. This gift can be used for one or more of the following. Please indicate the percentage of your gift for each area.

• Campus Beautification ____%
• Core Day to Day Operations ____%
• Facility Upgrades ____%
• Programming for Residents ____%
• Resident Endowment Fund ____%

If Ithacare Center Service Co., Inc. DBA Longview, an Ithacare Community shall determine at the outset or at a later time that the need no longer exists, or for some reason it is not possible to designate my gift as originally indicated, then Ithacare Center Service Co., Inc. DBA Longview, an Ithacare Community may, in its sole and uncontrolled discretion, direct the use of my bequest for a purpose related as closely as possible to that need indicated above.

Thank you for your interest in Longview. We are more energized than ever to be looking ahead.
